VW approached me while at Amazon to see if we could partner with their creative agency to replicate the UX from their website onto the 'new' Kindle Fire eco system. This was the 1.0 version of Kindle Fire and we had no idea what each size of the device could handle. I worked with my UX and creative technologist team to hack the framework of Kindle and create an experience that would gracefully degrade across each device with less processing power.
